If you are looking for information to compete, please see the events page
On 8/9 Sept, Oxford Sailing Club will be hosting the Inland National Champs for the British Finn and Europe Classes.
For those that don’t know, the Finn is the Olympic Men’s Heavyweight Class, and sailors from all over the UK will be coming to compete for the Title. Some of the racers will have just returned home following competition at World Champs in Denmark and Slovenia, including Oxfordshire’s own Cameron Tweedle (pictured).
The Hacketts Harbour Cafe in the Sailing Club will be open all weekend, and visitors are more than welcome.
If you fancy a day out, come and watch some of the worlds best sailors do battle on the water. If you sail, you can come and have a look at the facilities that Oxford Sailing Club has to offer, and if you fancy learning the sport then Oxford Sail Training Trust offers courses to the public.
During the weekend, the OSC Junior sailors, the Oxford Pirates, will be running a collection for the weekend’s nominated charity, the RAF Benevolent Fund, so if you’re able to make a small change donation, that’d be greatly appreciated.
