at Zoomers this week. Well done to everyone; it was another tricky week with very light conditions so difficult to sail well. Don't forget to check out this weeks photos (more on Facebook). It's really useful to look at your sailing position and compare it to the better sailors. I will try and get some video clips next week if the conditions are better.
Next Thursday will be our last evening session as the nights are drawing in.
We will also have a session on Saturday 8th September between 10am and 12 noon. The club will be very busy as the Finn and Europe Inland Sailing Championships are taking place on the main reservoir so please park in the main carpark as soon as you have dropped kit off. We will be sailing on the smaller reservoir. Numbers will be limited as we only have 2 coaches available for this session. If you haven't already done so please book your place for either or both sessions.
Please can all parents help with carrying boards down to the 'beach'.
As the sails are now stored in a semi rigged state all sailors are expected to complete rigging their own sail on arrival. Help is of course available if required.
Please can you ensure that your childs board is carried off the beach at the end of the session and replaced on the racks for non techno boards or on the grass for technos. The technos are delicate so please make sure that they are always carried by 2 people and not dragged. Please can everyone help out - it will make it much speedier for us all, particularly as it is getting dark much earlier now.
Please let me know whether you are attending as it helps us to allocate sails and groups in advance. Places are limited so please make sure that you book or email me with any questions.
