This should be my last post about the 2018 Finn and Europe Inlands, but I thought I should pass on some of the messages I’ve received regarding the event, to show just what a fantastic job the Club made of this event.
Well done and thank you to everyone involved - what a great way to showcase OSC👍🏽
Brilliant Jon. A very well managed and run event. Excellent racing and fantastic support from your young sailors in helping us to launch and recover, they were fantastic. Very well done, thank you.
Many thanks for organising a great event at the weekend, and please pass our thanks to the Oxford team for their hospitality. We all enjoyed it!
Thank you also for the prizes……..my Izeber jacket was a bit too big for me (3XL) so I took it to our local Decathlon store today and they changed it for a smaller size. Perfect.
What a great weekend, that has certainly set the standard!
Really well done to you all and a massive thank you to everyone
Very well done Jon and Hatti, it's a lot of work but thanks for a very good event. Now to get on with rebuilding my boat!
(Let’s hear it for the Pirates) Hear, hear! Unfortunately they were all out sailing when we were thanking everyone for the event. Great job, really appreciated the help after I hurt my thumb!
That was a really good event- Thanks Jonathan Tweedle, all at the club and especially the Oxford Pirates, a few of whom were very taken with the Europes, saying "I want to sail one of those after my Topper". Really great to see half the fleet being youth sailors and a huge age range of both sailors and boats. Those are the factors that make the class so nice and should ensure it has a great future. Definately on for the same again next year and
A brilliant w/e sailing in Oxford. It was very competitive but friendly racing with a great bunch of people. Thanks to Jonathan Tweedle and everyone who made it happen. Amazing prizes. Thanks Alejandro for the sail battens!
Had a great time at oxford sailing club at the Europe inlands! Finding out what the Europe is about..... I definitely be back out in one!!! Thankyou Jonathan Tweedle for a great event.
