Many thanks to all those who sailed in this years Bart’s Bash, and especially to all of you who so generously donated to this most worthwhile of charities, eventually raising the marvellous sum of £130.00.
To those of you who filled in the form on the day you are now on the “bashboard”. Many apologies to Shaun Anderson for my typo.
Presently the standings are in a provisional form as not all the clubs have returned their results. John Lee is working on ours and should have them out fairly soon. If you competed on the day and you register, hopefully, John will be able to include you.
The wind conditions made for a challenging and exciting race, with many of the newer members pushing their sailing skills to the limit. If you enjoyed your first taste of cub racing, which is never as daunting as it first seems, it continues every Sunday all through the winter; try and make the most of the relatively warm water whilst it lasts.
And just a quick reminder to all members that the last novice race day
is happening on 29th September, for fun slightly shorter races.
I hope to see you soon.
